Core Values

Integrity

Through continuously meeting and exceeding expectations, we seek to develop trusting relationships with each customer, partner and team member we work with.

Passion

We are passionate about the impacts of effective leadership and have experienced the effects of poor leadership earlier in our careers. Each Transforming Leadership team member is committed to helping our customers experience the joy and satisfaction of leading well.

Collaboration

We believe in the power of collaboration with clients as well as industry partners. It is through the sharing of ideas, perspectives, needs and solutions that individuals and organizations will experience sustainable positive change.

Vision

To create change that impacts organizations, individuals, families and communities around the world.

We believe that growing as a leader in a corporate environment, will naturally flow to the development of better leaders of self and of family. Such leadership impacts won’t be able to contained there, as they will begin to change in the communities we live in, and eventually, in those we are able to influence around the world.

Mission

To impact the quality of people’s lives in the workplace through improving individual performance and organizational culture.

Transforming Leadership partners with our clients so they can go from where they are, to where they want to be. We help our clients achieve their desired outcomes through adopting positive changes in behavior, backed by best practices in Behavioral Science.

Above all else, our mission is to honor Jesus Christ in all that we do.

Giving Back

Transforming Leadership partners with PATH International (www.pathintl.org) by donating 3% of our revenue to local PATH centers across the United States. PATH’s mission is “to improve, enrich, and make a positive difference in the lives of children and adults with special needs.” This unique organization serves over 66,000 special needs children around the world through equine-assisted activities and therapies.

Transforming Leadership donations are given to PATH centers within close proximity to our customer locations in order to foster community-level development beyond the corporate setting.

Dr. Steve Steff – DiSC Leadership Style: IS

When once asked what I wanted accomplished in my life, I wanted to be able to say I helped change some lives for the better. Working with senior leaders, improving their effectiveness and improving their impact on people, allows me to have a “multiplier effect.” The leaders we work with are all committed to “getting bigger.” Through their work, their commitment, and their growth, I have the opportunity to improve the work and the lives of far more individuals than would be possible by exclusively working one-on-one.  My passion is scaling the effects of intentional leadership.

Jeremiah Steff – DiSC Leadership Style: I

The work we do with leaders goes so far beyond just making their teams more productive and profitable. Leadership development means making a difference in every level of that organization and beyond. Of course, the impact of a good leader is felt by their employees, but it’s also felt by their family, friends and community. That is what it’s all about for me. When you make even a small, positive change in a leader, it has a massive ripple effect and everyone around them is better for it. I’m proud to be part of this team that puts so much effort and heart into our work because we know the effect it can have for so many people.

Leadership Development directly influences the long term impact and success of any organization. In today’s business culture, the advantages to investing in key leadership, can and does set your organization apart from others. Taking advantage of the diverse skill sets of existing employees, as well as attracting quality personnel, will allow your organization to grow at a pace that you will be prepared to expect. Loyalty, as well as productivity, can be expected from those men and women we choose to develop. With all these added advantages, we can anticipate and insure a positive impact on our organization’s bottom line.

Our people are our greatest asset, and our job as leaders is to make them the very best they can be.

Larry Smalley – DiSC Leadership Style: Di

I develop leaders to: live up to their highest intentions and potential; prepare them for future opportunities; infuse their relationships with greater authenticity, compassion and presence.

I coach leaders by: holding them accountable to set goals, diagnose gaps and create development plans; reframing their thinking by thoughtful questioning; providing significant feedback based on accurate observations.

I believe promotable high performing leaders exhibit the following key characteristics: critical thinking; learning agility; relationship mastery.

Jim Brangenberg – DiSC Leadership Style: DI

I believe leadership is most recognized at the granular level. Leaders who take time to invest in their people – to bring out the best in them, is what represents great leadership. In our country there is a leadership vacuum. Organizations have spent decades focusing solely on the bottom line and output, that we have often missed the most valuable asset in our organizations – the people. As I look at Transforming Leadership, I see a team that is committed to investing in people.

An organization focused on bringing out the best in their people positively impacts shareholders, stakeholders and customers. Great leadership takes time and an investment of the heart. Leaders without a heart will never make great leaders. Transforming Leadership brings out the leader’s heart.
